Balanced Body Chiropractic only collects information from our patients that are necessary to properly diagnose and treat their condition, and to follow up on their recovery. Balanced Body Chiropractic aims to ensure that any information we hold is accurate, complete, and up to date.
The health information Balanced Body Chiropractic holds helps to provide our patients with the best possible health care, and is normally disclosed only to other health care practitioners – such as the patient’s doctor – involved in their treatment (or where disclosure is required by law). If Balanced Body Chiropractic needs to disclose information about a patient to people other than those associated with their treatment, we will seek the patient’s permission first.
Balanced Body Chiropractic has systems in place to protect the security of your health records. Your personal information will be kept secure at all times and is protected from misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Nobody other than Balanced Body Chiropractic staff has access to those records.
In line with normal business procedures, Balanced Body Chiropractic maintains contact lists and mailing lists of people with whom they do business or wish to contact from time to time. Should you wish not to be part of their contact lists, please let their staff know. You have a right to access the information Balanced Body Chiropractic holds on you at any time and to seek correction of that information if it is incorrect.
